Volunteers are essential to the success of our program and enable The Shane Center to fulfill its mission and offer quality programming the community has come to value. Volunteer opportunities include: Lesson & Barn Volunteers, and Special Event Volunteers. Volunteering is a great way to give back to your community, have fun, and become part of our remarkable group of authentic, caring people. Individual and group service projects are welcome.

1. Contact us

Call or email us for more information. Please include how you would like us to contact you, contact details, and preferred area of volunteering (lesson, barn, special event).

2. Schedule a visit

Call us at (740) 625-9324 and schedule a visit to see our program in action.

3. Fill out the volunteer forms

Download, print and fill out required volunteer forms. If not already submitted, bring these forms with you when you attend training.

4. Obtain a background check

Obtain BCI&I background from your local Webcheck location, and send the results to the Shane Center.

5. Attend a volunteer training

Attend a volunteer training and get scheduled to help make a difference in the life of another!
